1821 Fine Wine & Spirits
With its close ties to the land for the past seven generations, the Zonin family heads the largest private vine growing and winemaking company in Italy. The new generation of Zonins has already taken its place next to President Gianni Zonin, bringing with it a wave of youthful dynamism and also experience gained on other continents. The company's heart is located in Gambellara, in the province of Vicenza, an oasis of verdant hills and well-ordered vineyards. Gambellara is the ancestral home of the Zonin family. It has been famous for viticulture since the 1300s, as testifies by Pier de'Crescenzi in his Trattato d'Agricultura (treatise on Agriculture).

Beehive Distilling
We started with the notion that gin wasn’t being given the love it deserved. Real gin—a blast of juniper followed by the complex intrigue of all the other botanicals—was being challenged by pretenders. Gin shouldn’t taste like a citrus drink, and it shouldn’t taste like cleaning fluid. We give gin some well-deserved attention. Small batches on a small still. Botanicals measured and macerated by hand, distilled, bottled and labeled in our Salt Lake City distillery.

Center of Effort / Fossil Point
On the Central Coast of California, our vines are never far from the influence of the sea. Sunny afternoons give way to cool marine breezes, and the growing season is directly shaped by the seasonal flow of the currents and surface temperature of the nearby Pacific Ocean. Our vines take root in coarse sand, calcareous shale, and fossilized oyster beds - all remnants of the ancient sea floor.
Fossil Point pays tribute to this bond between sea and vine. Located less than five miles west of the winery, Fossil Point is a rugged headland with sweeping views of the Central California coastline. Standing atop Fossil Point, you will enjoy the same ocean breezes that are on their way to our vineyards, where they guide our fruit to perfect ripeness.

Communal Brands
Communal Brands is the most excellent wine importation, distribution and brand development company operating near a train yard in NYC, period. We love wine and choose them from people we love: to wit, Melissa Saunders née Monti has one foot in Italy, another in New Zealand – hence Communal’s focus on these regions. Truth (typicity) is critical in all things, but especially wine. We do not dismiss juice trends, we simply believe wholeheartedly that wines can evolve to accommodate taste without abandoning tradition, hence our battle cry: Classic Wine for Modern People.

Holystone Distilling
A Holystone is a soft and brittle sandstone that was formerly used in the Royal Navy and US Navy for scrubbing and whitening the wooden decks of ships. A variety of origins have been proposed for the term, including that such stones were taken from broken monuments of St. Nicholas Church in Great Yarmouth or else the ruined church of St. Helens adjacent to the St Helens Road anchorage of the Isle of Wight where ships would often provision. The US Navy has it the term may have come from the fact that 'holystoning the deck' was originally done on one's knees, as in prayer. Smaller holystones were called "prayer books" and larger ones "Bibles". Holystoning eventually was not generally done on the knees but with a stick resting in a depression in the flat side of the stone and held under the arm and in the hands and moved back and forth with grain on each plank while standing or partially leaning over to put pressure on the stick-driven stone. Holystoning continued on teak-decked Iowa-Class battleships into the 1990s.
For us, the Holystone signifies persistance, hardwork, humility, and teamwork.

Lorenza Rosé
Lorenza Rosé is an homage to the lovely rose wines of the south of France. We source our fruit from wonderful old vines grown in sandy soil in Northern California — mourvedre, carignane, cinsult and grenache for a many layered flavor profile. Hand picked at the moment when the fruit is bright and fresh, the grapes are gently pressed and removed quickly from the skins to just reach the pale salmon color, low alcohol and vibrant acidity.

Ogden's Own
From the late 1800's to the mid 1900's setting foot off of the train in Ogden was often a life changing experience for a transcontinental rail traveler. The train station sat as the root of the infamous Two-bit Street. "Any man's desire fulfilled for two bits." Two-bit/25th Street was a hedonist's paradise. With no trouble from the law, a man could gamble, drink bootleg liquor, spend time with an unfamiliar lady, smoke opium, or befall a worse fate.
