Lasorte Cuadra
Founded by husband and wife Roberto Lasorte and Stephanie Cuadra through a partnership with this denomination’s only surviving traditional wine co-operative, Lasorte Cuadra is committed to preserving the viticultural heritage of the Valle d’Itria in Puglia—a limestone plateau nestled between the Adriatic and Ionian Seas—where ancient indigenous white grapes such as Verdeca, Bianco d’Alessano, Minutolo and Maresco are, at long last, ready to emerge as the new protagonists of quality-driven winemaking in one of southern Italy’s most fascinating, yet under-explored, rural landscapes. Lasorte Cuadra has only released one label to date: SILOS \ Valle d’Itria IGT Bianco.
